celastrus orbiculatus, also called oriental bittersweet, is a highly invasive vine. it's a major problem in the area where i live. bittersweet infestations are nearly impossible to get rid of once they're settled in somewhere; their root systems are fast-growing and enormous. this plant is stubborn, unwanted, and adapts easily to any environment.
