if you make it longer than like one line, it'll be awkward on mobile, because this becomes a thin header. it'll still work, though! just might be hard to get through. you can test it out and see.
Here's a version of the layout for a single page, like a tumblr post's permalink! It uses the same stylesheet. This way you can use the layout throughout your site and not just for a homepage. Or you can just use this version instead. Either way.
Include an image with a "figure" and "figcaption" like so, if you want. That'll center it.
Very tidy.
Put your secrets in here. Or long posts. Or whatever.
One more bit of "blog decor" is the horizontal line.
You could use that as a divider inside a "post", or between "posts" if you have multiple.
Give a paragraph the class "quote" to make it look like this! Useful if you're discussing a bit of writing or responding to a comment or have a really good quote to share.
You can have multiple boxes like this, for a one-column blog look, or one box as tall as you want.
